I work in a special needs unit in a college as a Teacher Aide. I personally try and incorporate Te Reo Maori and tikanga into my everyday language with students. I would love to encourage more staff to try . I still have a long way to go on my journey, however we all need to start somewhere and embrace bicultural curriculum in mainstream schools.
