For Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2024, our group will focus on enhancing the use of te reo Māori in our daily workplace interactions.
Te Reo in Meetings: We'll encourage the use of te reo Māori in our meetings by starting with a karakia, introducing agenda items in te reo, and using Māori terms where applicable. This will help normalize the use of the language in formal settings.
Whakataukī of the Day: Each day, we'll share a whakataukī (proverb) in te reo Māori, along with its meaning and relevance. This will not only enrich our language skills but also deepen our understanding of Māori values and wisdom.
