Share what you did for Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2023. This will go on to become a showcase of how we celebrate te reo as a nation.
Te Herenga Waka o Orewa Marae promotes te reo Māori me wōna tikanga. We provide te reo Māori classes (Te Ataarangi), marae experiences, kapa haka, rongoā Māori and professional development. Our marae leads community celebrations for Waitangi Day, Matariki and Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori. Te Herenga Waka also facilitates pōhiri, blessings, consultations and cultural support services to our community including local government, businesses, community organisations and schools.
