The Wellington Te Wiki o te Reo Māori Parade
Come join thousands of Wellingtonians as we take to the streets to celebrate Te Wiki o te Reo Māori on Monday 14 September 2026. Please gather from 10am outside Parliament. The parade starts at 11am, before finishing at Odlins Plaza.

MOKORIPI - Te Reo Māori Ripper Rugby Kōhanga Reo Tournament
MOKORIPI is a Rippa Rugby tournament for Kōhanga Reo mokopuna aged 3–5, celebrating te reo Māori through sport and play. Te reo Māori is the only language spoken throughout the event, from the field to the sidelines.
