Kia ora e te whānau,

Thanks for joining to celebrate Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori and the #māorilanguagemoment for 2023. Will you whakarongo (listen) to a waiata, kōrero (speak), ako (learn) or maybe pānui (read)? Use this group as a space to share what you'll be getting up to - you might be able to help a colleague work out what they can do!

If you have any pātai (questions) feel free to send me a message on teams. Kia kaha Te Reo Māori!

As kaimahi at World Vision Aotearoa New Zealand, we will be doing a range of things to celebrate Te Reo Māori. We have been learning the about the language, tīkanga and Te Ao Māori as we continue on our haerenga (journey) as an organisation. Prior to the #maorilanguagemoment on Wednesday we will be hearing about the history of Te Reo Māori, singing waiata, playing a Kahoot! and having a shared kai to celebrate.
