We loved learning the kaikōhau as a family. We prepared a feast and said it at dinner time before eating. It reminded us to be grateful for Mother Earth and all she provides us with. It was such a lovely moment and we are looking forward to integrating more matariki traditions and rituals into our lives as the years go on.
