I will take the time to sit down and learn my mihi and some basic everyday phrases I can use during my day to day - as well as teaching my toddler some words and phrases she can use also. I will also participate in Tuakana Teina sessions, mentoring our wonderful Māori midwifery students in learning their mihi’s and playing games to encourage more Te Rep use!
