Kia ora koutou,
I work as a Learning support person at Whenuapai School out in West Auckland. I've always loved Gwenda Turner's book "New Zealand ABC" and wished it was also in Te reo Māori. So the challenge for me was to find all the Māori words in the book, add them, practice saying them and then have my 11 year old son Hamish video me reading the book. It was then offered to the teachers I work with along with other videos to support our students at home during the current Covid Level 4. I hope you will enjoy it too.
