I am learning because of the beauty of this language. Because there is knowledge to be gained through understanding. I am learning because I am humble to receive new knowledge and understanding. I am learning because I have Mothered a daughter of Tainui and Ngāti Kahungunu decent and I want her to know the beauty of this language, her culture, her people. I am learning so that she can teach me as we grow.
