This is the kai that I and my students who are part of the Māori & Pasifika council, as well as my Māori class, made to share with the rest of our kura! We had hinu bread, chowder and spent time together to korero, to set intentions for the new year with kaikōhau and to share our knowledge and love for te ao Māori with everyone else in our school.
