Nineteen of my entirely pāhehā/tauiwi family from around NZ stayed at Whatipū Lodge for the weekend to celebrate Matariki. I acknowledged my godmother Kath who passed away earlier this year. This kaitahi was on 2 July, which would have been her 100th birthday!
