With our tamariki we had a bonfire at the beach with friends to reflect the past year and made goals for the next year which we sent with paper lanterns. Our tamariki had a ball! After our bonfire we had a beautiful hakari of roast lamb and chocolate pudding. That night we all stayed in the living room Marae styles and got up early the next morning to walk to the beach to see the Matariki stars.
