I started learning Te reo Māori about a year ago, I heard on the radio that Te reo Māori was considered a dead language because so few were fluent, I felt a responsibility to change that narrative, it has been an amazing journey that has taught me so much about Te reo ,tikanga and also about myself as a person. Te reo Māori is one of our official languages and also a Taonga , I hope to be fluent one day and encourage others to try as well. I hope this is a place where all who call Aotearoa home ,can come together.
Nga mihi 😊
