Room 16 made rakau sticks online using a variety of materials, some used newspaper, magazines, paper towel rolls etc. We then listened to the waiata E Papa Waiari and watched a youtube clip of how to use rakau sticks.
The children are now sending me videos of their actions and I will link them altogether. We have all caught a rakau stick from the left and thrown to the right so it will look like we are passing to each other (hopefully).
