I am working as a nurse in an Aged Care facility - also as an educator. I am NZ born and lived nearly 40 adult years in the UK. Have returned to Aotearoa and wish to begin learning the language that had been pushed away when I was at school. I need to be able to pronounce and learn correctly in order to be respectful in my place of work, observing Te Tirito o Waitangi, and to be able to teach others whose first language is not even English.
