My lovely Learning Assistant shared her expertise with my classroom for Te wā tuku reo Māori over Zoom as we are still in lockdown in Tāmaki Makaurau. We opened with a karakia, greeted each other in Te Reo Māori, sang some waiata, did some action games and ended with a colour scavenger hunt. My class loved it and it was so great to share this special moment with our associate principals and principal too :)
