As a product of Te Kohanga Reo o Puketapu ki Rāhui Pokeka, I remember the best times playing in the sandpit and on the swings, but also singing waiata. After Kohanga Reo went on to Kura Kaupapa Maori and Wharekura, and am now a Diplomat. Who I am today and how I move around comfortably in Te Ao Maori and Te Ao Pakeha is down to my parents putting me through total immersion kura.
