Everyday I incorporate at least a couple of words in Te Reo when speaking sentences also at work I greet in Te Reo to our fellow patients that come in and also end with “kia pai to ra”. Because our urgent care clinic has a different range of cultures I do also try to teach some of the admin staff/Drs and nurses on how to say simple Māori words they love the idea of learning our language as they know how important it is to us and our country.
