We just watched a fabulous show about te reo Māori called “Speak No Māori.” Illuminating history of how the government tried to destroy te reo Māori, and its resurgence.
Also, my partner and I (both Pākehā) are studying te reo Māori through Onehunga College continuing education….and living it!
