For Māori Language week I am working towards learning new Kupu-words daily. Lately I’ve been using new Kupu I’ve learnt in my everyday activities. Whilst speaking to my 7month old son who I practice teaching Color’s numbers animals and asking questions to. These steps have encouraged me to speak Māori more and more. I am looking forward to my son being proud and confident to speak Reo whilst out with me. We are raising a generation of people who stand firm in their identity ❤️
