Kia ora,

Amelie and Ava are Year 6 ākonga at Hamilton East School in 2025. This week, they have been celebrating Te Wiki o te Reo Māori and learning about the Kīngitanga movement this term. As part of their learning, they helped create a performance to share their knowledge and educate our community.

They were also fortunate to visit Tūrangawaewae Marae for the recent Koroneihana. Amelie and Ava are two wonderful young people who embrace their Māori whakapapa every day.

Here are their wishes for the year 2075.
