Te Tūhunga Rau Kōrero Mai Rōpū - Our Kōrero Mai rōpu meet i a Rātū/Tuesday mornings 11.30-12.30/1pm at Te Tūhunga Rau.We speak Māori, introduce ourselves through mihi, and find hōnonga/connection with each other through waiata/song and karakia/blessings or prayer. For some of us this is new, so we are patient and gentle. We have a few laughs too!
Our Mission Statement:
At Te Tūhunga Rau Kōrero Mai Rōpū, our mission is to whāngai Mātauranga (knowledge) within a space that upholds Manaakitanga (care and respect) and is guided by Tikanga (cultural protocols). We embrace Wairuatanga (spirituality) and strive for Kotahitanga (unity), creating an inclusive, supportive environment where all can grow together on their reo journey.
