I started my reo journey late in life and my biggest block was myself, those pronouns and verbs got me all up in my head. I have 5 adult children and my daughter works at Te Kura O Nga Ruahine Rangi. To hear my moko fluent in their reo makes my heart full. Their inspiration guides me to stay on this path and bring hope that my other moko will also embrace Te Ao Maaori.
