As someone with a deep appreciation for language, history, and indigenous cultures, I have always been fascinated by Te Ao Māori. In fact, my love for Māori culture was a major reason why I chose to pursue further study in New Zealand. Over the years, I have travelled to many countries like Japan, South Korea,Italy, Spain, Norway, Peru and the United State of America to experience and understand diverse cultural traditions. When I read a book introducing New Zealand to me three years ago, the depth, spirituality, and values of Māori heritage deeply resonated with me.
