I started learning the reo Maori when I first started high school.When I first took it it thought in my first year of high school that I would just do it for my first year. but I found a interest into it and I have taken it as a subject each year now . I find a interest into learning on how to speak the language and keeping the language alive. I want to be able to teach it and carry it on to the future generation because I don't want the history to repeat itself
