We are the tamariki of Sugartree Lane Preschool in the heart of Tāmaki Makaurau. This year, we are learning te reo Māori through waiata, karakia, stories, and play. We are proud to be part of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori 2025.
Our message to the future is simple:
Speak te reo Māori every day.
Share it with your whānau and friends.
Keep it alive in your homes, schools, and hearts.
In 50 years, when you open this, we hope te reo Māori is strong, loved, and spoken everywhere. We want our voices, small today, to join yours in the future.
