the revitalisation of Te Reo Maori and Te Ao Maori is something to be protected and invested in - as part of my mahi I have seen the healing power rooted in reconnection to culture and whakapapa, I hope to see this embraced with intention and value over the next 50 years. As tangata tiriti I want to be a part of uplifting and supporting tangata whenua to have tinorangatira in a meaningful way, and I believe revitalising te reo Maori is a significant step toward this.
