In 2021 I became the first auctioneer in NZ to integrate Te Reo into a Real Estate Auction and used the National REINZ Auctioneering Championships to do so. 4 years later in 2025, many now use basic greetings, pronounce Maori words better and utilize, tahi, Rua & toru more throughout their calls. It still needs more use in the Real Estate Industry and I still push for more use myself. My hope is by 2075, well after im gone, auctioneers and leaders in this industry have integrated more if not utilizing it fully within their communications
