Te Reo Māori is the language of Tangata Whenua of Aotearoa. It represents not just words, but a culture, a philosophy, and an identity. Coming from Luxembourg ,where it’s common for us to speak four or more languages ,and having lived in Aotearoa for 20 years, I’m heartened to see the renaissance of Te Reo. Its growing presence in our surroundings, from street signs and public buildings to business meetings, radio, and television, is a beautiful acknowledgment of its importance. It enriches us all.
