Activities

We have planted a row of 9 tī kōuka stars on a piece of land that we are rewilding. My husband and I will spend time there remembering our mums who have both passed this year.

My wero was to learn the song Purea Nei (Hirini Melbourne) off by heart and sing it on Tuesday. . I am not a reo speaker normally but I’m learning… still.

The seeds were gifted to me from my workmates at Te Koopuku School when I left last year. It was a perfect moment to plant them.
