Waiata | Sing

Ka waiata mātou (ko au mā mātou ōku hoa mahi) i te kīhini. Kua ako mātou i ngā waiata hōu - "Purea Nei" me "Tai Aroha". Waihoki, kei waho i Te Wā Tuku Reo Māori 2023 ka hui tahi mātou ōku hoa akomanga mō tō mātou noho marae tuaono i Pari-ā-rua. Kei reira, ka ako mātou e pā ana ki ngā waiata me ngā haka. Whakaharatau ai ahau te mōteatea "Kaore Te Ki Patu" i a rā i tōku kāinga hoki, kia whakaari atu tōku rōpū tērā waiata ki ō mātou hoa akomanga.

Activities

I hui tahi mātou i te kīhini kia waiata mātou mō Te Wā Tuku Reo Māori! I waiata mātou i ngā waiata 'Purea Nei', 'Tai Aroha', me 'E minaka ana', ā, i whakawai 'Ka Pioioi' me te 'Toia Mai' hoki. We gathered together in the kitchen to sing for the Māori Language Moment! We sang the waiata - 'Purea Nei', 'Tai Aroha' and 'E minaka ana', and, we also practised 'Ka Pioioi' and 'Toia Mai'.

Ki a au nei, e hirahira ana kia mōhio tātou ko te reo Māori he reo o tēnei whenua. Me whakanui tātou i te reo me te ao Māori. Whakarongo ki te rōreka o te reo Māori rangatira. Whakamīharo! For me, it's important that we all know that te reo Māori is the language of this land. We should celebrate te reo and te ao Māori. Listen to the melodious and esteemed Māori language. Amazing!
