Kia Ora! This is our team at TakiWira/Dargaville Library introducing ourselves in Te reo! We believe it’s important to recognise the importance of Maori culture & Te reo by learning and sharing. Our library is an inclusive library for ALL and we hope to reflect that in our own knowledge and understanding as we continue to learn.

We had a sing along to E Minaka Ana in our library with several staff and members of the community joining in. It was AWESOME! Our song has been on two local radio stations and our facebook video has been viewed almost 4000 times since we loaded it up on Monday afternoon.
