We believe Te Reo Māori is an important part of who we are as Aotearoa New Zealanders and should be heard, seen and valued in our everyday lives.
Through Te Ao Marama, we want our students to feel confident using Te Reo Māori and to understand that their language, culture and identity are strengths. By including Te Reo Māori in everyday activities such as cooking, sports, crafts and classroom routines, we can make learning meaningful, practical and enjoyable.
Our goal is to create an environment where students feel proud to use Te Reo Māori, learn from each other, and understand the importance of keeping our language alive for future generations.
