Kia ora koutou,
As we move into Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, I just want to take a moment to encourage you all, however you choose to take part this week, do it with pride.
You don't need to be fluent to make a difference. A single kupu shared with a colleague, a waiata sung a little louder, a pēpēha practised out loud, these small moments matter. They're how our Te Reo Māori stays alive, and how we keep building a workplace where Te Ao Māori is felt in everything we do.
I'm proud of how far we've come as a team, and I'm looking forward to seeing how you all bring Te Reo Town to life this week. Kia kaha, kia māia, kia manawanui.
