This video/waiata was written by my sister and her husband. It was written back in 1986/87. The waiata was written at a time when our Maori people were struggling with issues relating to Maori values, beliefs, customs and protocols with our then government. The waiata was a means of reminding out people that we could rely upon our founding Christian Missionary values of Hope, Love and patience and to trust our Faith will lead us through the many trials and challenges. And to believe the gospel/Bible teachings that our Creator is the Way, the Truth and the Life.

My name is Ray T Isaacs. I am a former 20 year career veteran soldier, Defence Army (Aug 1974-Aug 1994). During my military career I had the opportunity to be recruited into the famous NZ Army Band as the first official Rhythm/Lead Guitarist. Music for me has been a life time passion. Today in my music capacity I advertise myself as "Top Freelance Musician, singer, songwriter. I have been singing and playing Maori music all my life and it remains a music passion.
