He tino nui taku aroha ki tērā wahi, no reira e mihi ana ki ngā iwi o te whenua nei. I tipu ake au ki Taita, heoi anō, i ēnei rā e noho ana au ki Paekākāriki, ki ngā whenua o Ngāti Haumia, o Ngāti Toa Rangatira, no reira e mihi ana ki ngā iwi o te takutai nei. I taught 12 common te reo words to my ESOL class. My learners were from Ecuador, Chile, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, China and Thailand. We played a te reo memory game. Things got a bit competitive! But that just meant everyone worked really hard to learn the kupu hou.
