My pākehā Nan learnt Te Reo after she retired from farming and bought some land off the late rangatira Monte Rereamoamo Ohia. Never too old to learn!

I am inspired by my Nan whom I discovered learnt te Reo in her 70s after she retired to Papamoa

Celebrating matariki puanga by the Manawatu Awa with whanau. Ko Rangitane te Iwi. Food trucks, kapahaka, live music and lights, great fun. Ka mau te wehi!

He puna wai, he puna kai, he puna reo, he puna ora, ita ita! Maori, their culture and language have been a source of inspiration to me, enriching my life and opening my eyes to new ways of looking after each other and the world. The least I can do is learn and give back - mauri ora!
