In all that we do- i tenei wiki we matched a whakatauki to a well known maori tiktok. Each pair were given their own tiktok. They loved it. We did whole school waiata and actions under our maunga, we played maori kemu and we cooked kai in maori.

To promote the beauty of our Reo, instill in my tauira a love and passion for learning their native tongue and growing the speakers within the next generation.

This is our Year 9 & 10 class in our Syndicate. They had a Te Reo wananga for the end of the term in celebration of Matariki and all conversations had to be in Te Reo Maori. This is their Kaitahi before getting into the second part of their mahi i te po. Matariki kai everybody.

If I dont learn Te Reo at my kura I dont know what the staff are saying and I dont know what the community are saying because everyone speaks Maori up here in Panguru. I moved home from Auckland to learn Te Reo so I am living it and breathing it everyday in my mahi and in my community.
