I have a grand daughter who is attending a kohanga reo in Whangarei and I would like to share or be part of her learning.

I am 65yrs old maori women, one of 11 children. Our parents were both fluent in the reo, but none of us were taught to speak at school or home. Some of my siblings attended night classes to grab the basics. I have always wanted to, but never got around to it. I carry a bit of shame for not getting out there to learn the reo. I guess it is never too late.
