My why ? is because it is our precious taonga and at last we seem to be making some progress as a nation in acknowledging this and doing something about it, collectively and individually. How can I not want to be part of this ( especially as I feel my tipuna breathing down my neck... Aue!) ?

Jill Chrisp and I will play a card game ( for 4 year olds and up..) called 'Tākaro' which I bought a couple of weeks ago to play with our 18 month old and very smart moko whose name is Manawa. If we have time during that hour we'll listen to a pod cast of reo lessons and maybe sing a couple of our favourite waiata.
