I labelled my kid's lunches every day this week, writing a message on the outside of their pouaka kai and then labelling all of the kai inside, just to make those words sink in. All of this week's menu is in te reo too.

I've shared a list of phrases at my kura to get everybody using the reo in everyday situations, especially for commands - line up, sit down, tidy up, where is your hat? I have printed them off as lanyards to hang round people's necks. I have labelled all of the kai in my children's lunchboxes in te reo Māori to help them spread the reo too.
