Because being Māori is a huge part of who we are, and what makes New Zealand what it is. We need to bring it back for the generations that are walking around as half of themselves because they don’t know where they belong, and bring it back for future generations to be the best of who they are.
There’s so much more I could go on forever but that’s the first thing that came to my mind at this second.
