Our culture and our language is who we are. If I can help to support a language from becoming lost, I will. Plus, I love the language and have friends who are fluent, I would love to converse with them in their language.

I am enrolled in Te Ara Reo Māori (He Pī ka Pao) Level 1-2, and am enrolling for Level 3-4 in 2021. I have attended Levels 1&2 of Te Ahu o te reo Māori - Te Rekamauroa. I am a primary school teacher, who is endeavouring to pass all I learn on to my students, we hope to normalise te reo and tikanga Māori in our mainstream classroom.
