I'm learning its a part of who I am, I'm learning to connect with my whakapapa, I'm learning to connect with papatuanuku. My ability to speak fluently is a way off, but I will stay the course and hopefully overcome my shyness to speak openly in te reo maori one day...soon.

I've come home to learn all things Te Ao Maori, I practice and learn new waiata and karakia on my drives up and down the rohe, I speak openly to our atua daily, I say the lords prayer in Maori almost daily and I have many hui on Marae listening to fluent te reo speakers who I absolutely admire.
