My why is because I want to myself and my child to be bilingual. For te reo to be a part of our everyday vocabulary. I am making progress but it is slow. I am more confident with using te reo at home than in my workplace, however because I work as an ECE teacher I need to break down my own insecurities to make te reo visible in my practice.

I am trying to extend my te reo use at home and in my workplace. As a ECE teachers te reo is an essential component of my job. One of my difficulties in using te reo is that how can I confidently ask some how are they, I feel as though its not appropriate to not have a follow up te reo command or to be able to understand when te reo is spoken to me.
