We played one of our favourite kemu, involving lots of counting from the tamariki – starting with tahi!

Newlands Tamariki

As we weren't on session on Tuesday we held our Māori Language Moment via Facebook. We posted to ask 'Kei te aha koe' and lots of people replied in te reo with what they were doing, and photos, videos and gifs.

We made soup together on our bilingual session. Everyone brought an ingredient in and the children prepared them. We sat down to share soup for lunch and said the kaikōhau after our karakia kai.
