Our Switched On whānau are on a journey to embrace te ao and te reo Māori. Being whānau and more recently iwi-owned, it’s important to our kaimahi to learn more about Māori culture and incorporate this into our mahi. We recently launched our company karakia and have been encouraging our people to use this during their daily huddles. During Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori we will be updating our intranet to include easily accessible te reo resources as well as running various engagement activities throughout the week including quizzes, competitions and opportunities to connect through te reo Māori. This is just the beginning of Switched On’s journey and we are excited to make te reo more prominent throughout our business.
