Playcentre is a bicultural organisation. We honour the special place of the reo and tikanga of tangata whēnua. We are all enriched in our lives by gaining knowledge of this taonga and we pass on our engagement to our tamariki.
Landsdowne Terrace Playcentre
We had lots of pukapuka in te reo Māori, a phrase of the day in our chat group (with little video showing pron.), weaving cardboard strips, more pukapuka at mat time greetings and using te reo on session and kaiako and tamariki sang pakipaki tamariki ma at mat time (and recorded it.)
