Taught students in my class to play Takaro. The game is a lot of fun and learnt new words along the way.
Forest View High School
Teachers performed students in assembly alongside karakia, mihi and the raising of the Maori flag. Each class is also encouraged to pause at 12pm to acknowledge in some way te reo Maori with ako, waiata, panui, takaro, korero and whakarongo.
