As a kaiako - I feel it's important to take part and teach our tamariki to understand the importance of Te Reo Māori. The more we speak Te Reo Māori - the more normal it becomes in our everyday life.

Awareness of our Language is very important to me. I learn along side my students in my class and they love it!

I am a teacher and I have the opportunity to influence the minds of our tamariki. It is important to share this message of 'Kia Kaha Te Reo'. This would be an awesome way to connect with others who are sending the same message.

Te reo Māori is the language of the land! It is important to keep te reo alive within our school and among our tamariki.
